@Philip_RJ89 Don't think this was like the first two tests. That pitch was doing a lot. Brook's was the best way to play, as a ball had your name on it sooner or later. Biggest error was the top 4 not doing the same, and we gifted Australia a few easy runs when we bowled.

@TouringCarHub Cammish summed it up well in his interview. The difference between soft and hards is far too big. Organisers clearly don't want back to back winners, but we basically know now who wins race 2 instead of having a Ingram / Cammish / Sutton battle.

What do we all think about the top 3 on hards rule? I think it’s crap, you get people purposefully drop off the podium to start from 4th on softs. Shades of 2004 when people deliberately dropped back to 10th in R2 to start on pole in R3

@Philip_RJ89 What people didn't seem to factor in is drivers often make a big step in their third season, as Norris did in 2021. And Piastri was already very good last year. Norris is fast, but he's not winning races like Piastri did in Baku. Piastri has a quiet steel to him.

If McLaren don’t ditch their stupid ‘Papaya Rules’ schtick and accept that Piastri is a better driver and a more realistic world title contender, they’re all idiots. He’s so clear of Norris that it’s not really an argument at all. #F1 #BahrainGP
