With Day + NOD out and Bice looking like a must trade in, we're seeing more premiums traded in than we'd normally see prior to Rd 5. A fairly simple one up one down type move. The most popular Premium (950k+) trade ins thus far: 1. Whitfield 2. Brayshaw 3. Dunkley 4. Serong 5. Merrett 6. Green 7. Dawson Alternatively some are opting for a more value based approach and targeting an underpriced type instead such as Ashcroft, Stewart, Cerra etc.

@greenlitaccount @fantasynut_afl I wonder if it's possible to work out ownership among teams that finished top 1000 last season?

yep and even last year Marshall led the comp in average and was a terrible pick, 8 teams made the top 1k who started him, bit unique in how well the other 3 popular rucks went but every chance similar happens with TDK/Darcy. ownership of the rucks should be a big factor in who you start i would think.

Yes it hurts if they underperform but the big issue is if the alternative value option pops. Ie, if Marshall does 109 instead of 117, but Darcy goes from 77 to 100, the hit is compounded somewhat as you haven’t just bled cash your competition has made huge gains in team value and they can then jump on Marshall at a much cheaper price. But if Marshall goes 111 but TDK gets hurt and Darcy fails, you’re prob still sitting pretty despite Marshall not living up to his price tag.

I've just pushed out an update for my NBA Chrome / Firefox extension which will stop the popup from showing the next day's games when the time ticks over past midnight EST. It will now show the previous day's results for 8 hours. Look out for 1.2.0.
