Indus Valley was either entirely lost or absorbed into different cultures. Indians cannot decode Indus script and trace their culture back to Vedic traditions instead, ownership of the Indus Valley Civilization is best determined by its geography, placing it squarely in Pakistan.

Mohenjo Daro and Harappa are sites of the Indus Valley Civilization, which spans modern day Pakistan. Modern day India, by contrast, is an artificial state comprised of different civilizations. Over 1,000 Indus sites, including the two great cities, lie in Pakistan's Sindh and Punjab provinces. India possesses only a fraction, such as Dholavira and Rakhigarhi. Any claim that India is the "true heir" is nonsense. Moreover, the Indus Civilization has no continuity with Vedic culture. The Indus script remains undeciphered, but its material culture, including great baths, granaries, and sealings, shows no temples, no horses, and no Sanskrit. When Aryan pastoralists composed the Rigveda centuries after the Indus collapse, they showed zero awareness of Harappan cities. India's dominant Hindu nationalist narrative that "Indus was Vedic" is a fantasy revived for political ends. The truth is that India as a civilizational state is a myth. The modern Republic of India is a British drawn federation of over 400 princely states, 22 official languages, and distinct Dravidian, Aryan, Austroasiatic, and Tibeto Burman peoples.

One of the most powerful symbols of India’s unbroken civilizational continuity! Discovered at Mohenjo-daro in undivided India this steatite seal, about 4,300-year-old, shows a seated figure in yogic posture (widely seen as Shiva-Pashupati) seated in Mulabandhasana, surrounded by animals. While ancient sites may lie across modern borders, India remains the living custodian of this heritage. The yogic posture, Shaivite symbolism, and spiritual ethos seen in the Pashupati Seal continue to thrive in India’s temples, daily worship of Shiva, yogic traditions, and cultural life even today. From the Vedic period to contemporary Bharat, this civilizational thread has remained alive and unbroken — deeply embedded in our philosophy, rituals, and collective consciousness.🇮🇳 #PashupatiSeal #IndusSaraswatiCivilization #LivingIndianHeritage

Pakistani soldier Sachin Kumar embraced martyrdom today after battling injuries post BLA's train attack. Muslim BLA backed by Islamist Afghanistan, k!lled Pakistanis, while Hindu Pakistani worked to save other Pakistanis. That's why I say, Pakistan first. Religion-first narratives aren't compatible with nation states in today's complicated and diverse world, and hence religious issues are treated as a personal matter. Pakistani identity or loyalty to the state and its people in general comes first. Rest in peace, brother, and we will avenge you.

I am thrilled to have launched my first film on YouTube Mohenjo-daro: Unsealing an Ancient Indus City youtube.com/watch?v=BxyxVg… The film brings the Harappan civilization back to life in 37 minutes as I walk through the actual ruins, examining iconic discoveries: the Priest-King sculpture, the bronze Dancing Girl, and the enigmatic Great Bath. Rare archival images, dramatic recreations, high-quality graphics, and the music and voices of Sindh accompany interviews with leading archaeologists and scholars. Together they address the civilization's deepest mysteries — its undeciphered script, its remarkably egalitarian society, its trade networks stretching to ancient Mesopotamia, and what ultimately brought this great urban world to an end. This 37-minute documentary is divided into five chapters: 01:30 The Story — A common story about the ancient city told in the villages around it introduces some primary objects from the civilization; the perspective of the filmmaker who returns to the city 52 years after his first visit as a kid and his founding of Harappa.com; and the connection to it made by people today deep in South India. 07:29 The City — An overview of its vast size, the remarkable urban planning, drainage systems and architecture, the toys and games of one of antiquity's most sophisticated cities, and the figure of the dancing girl found at Mohenjo-daro and how she might be interpreted today. 15:15 The Citadel — The great structures at the heart of Mohenjo-daro and what it might tell us about Indus society and who ran it. A close look at the Great Bath, what was found in the citadel, the mysterious jar sign, the role of trade and structures that might be connected with it and its rulers. 21:33 The Writing — The still-undeciphered Indus script, the seals it appears on, trade with Mesopotamia, the critical figure of the unicorn that appears on most seals, what languages might have been spoken, and where Indus script studies stand today. 29:06 The Future — What archaeology, conservation, and scholarship are doing to preserve and understand Mohenjo-daro, the way Partition has impacted studies of the civilization, the responsibilities of people today and possible future directions for study that seem very promising. Enjoy! With Urdu, Hindi and Tamil subtitles.

Objectively. Indus Valley Civilization belongs to Pakistan. Many people may refer Indus Valley Civilization as ancient India, which is totally inaccurate. Unlike China, the oldest continuous civilization, Indus Valley, Mesopotamia and Egypt civilization are either totally lost or dissolved into other culture. Indians cannot decipher the Indus scripts and their culture are based on Vedic culture. So we can only decide who owns Indus valley civilization by it's location: Pakistan.
