In the current context, we are seeing an actual “short circuit” of #HumanRights. The right to freedom of expression, freedom of conscience, religious freedom, and even the right to life are being restricted in the name of other so-called new rights, with the result that the very framework of human rights is losing its vitality and creating space for force and oppression. This occurs when each right becomes self-referential, and especially when it becomes disconnected from reality, nature, and truth.

Our season ended last night but it went above and beyond what we ever dreamed or expected. Moving here was a huge challenge-learning new rules, new teams, new coaches, and getting the kids settled into a new routine-but it proved to be one of the best decisions we ever made. Everyone opened their doors and arms to us and quickly became family. We’ve been blessed to get to know some of the best coaches and families and are so thankful for relationships we’ve built. They put the kids above all else and work so hard and we couldn’t be more thankful. The parents have been so supportive and wonderful and always stepped up without even being asked. From team meals (thank you Kara and Francie!!❤️) to the support at games and even with drumlines🤣, they are the real MVPs. And the kids. We were blessed to get to know some of them better on a mission trip and I knew then these kids were different. They were so respectful and helpful towards each other and everyone they encountered. They were thrown into new coaches and new systems and worked their tails off to learn it all. They had an undefeated season and went 12-1 this season. Which is crazy but is such a testament to their hard work and character. We are going to miss the seniors so much but are so proud and thankful for the foundation they helped establish this year❤️. So thank you to everyone for an amazing 2025 season and here’s to building and gearing up for year 2026! ❤️🦅💪 #edgewatereaglesfootball🏈 @coachpsb
