@SSB_Rick You DO need a therapist. That person is objective and can provide much needed perspective about issues that you may be struggling with in your subconscious. I think you’re acknowledging that it’s bigger than yourself. I hope you get the help you deserve.

I’m still alive. I’m still sober. I need a therapist. I ended up in the hospital Friday night. Got the cops called on me again last night. I threatened to overdose. I’ll update later with a better post

Most of the people here have never lived in an HOA. I’d lived in HOA‘s all my life except for the first home I bought. The reason I live in an HOA is because I don’t want people parking their RVs on their driveway, cars on their lawn, painting their house purple, not maintaining their property. Usually, you’re paying a premium to live in that neighborhood on top of the HOA fees snd the last thing you want is to have the gardeners laying around in your neighborhood park or green belt that you pay a lot of money to maintain and to live there.

This is getting out of control. Watch this HOA meeting. A woman is seriously complaining that landscapers are eating their lunch in the common areas because it “feels inappropriate.”🙄 Not a crime. Not a disturbance. Just workers taking a break. People so entitled and disconnected they can’t even handle basic human decency anymore. We’ve gone from “love thy neighbor” to “how dare you eat your sandwich here.”

@MaxandCarrie I’m invested in your sweet Ruby because I see many parallels in the four traumatized cats that I adopted within the last couple of years. None of them allow my husband to pet them or to really engage with them. I feel for your husband, just as I feel for mine. So sad.

To Ruby’s former abuser. You suck. This sweet little angel deserved to feel safe, free and joyful to run up and play with her papa after he was gone for 5 days. He deserved it to. But this is huge progress. We did get a tail wag. She hid the rest of the night. Oh well! ❤️‍🩹

@Matt_Pinner Having a hysterosalpingogram (HSG) done when your fallopian tubes are occluded. Didn’t know they were occluded until the dye was injected. The dye had no means of escape so it ballooned out my fallopian tubes. And fucking doctors never provide pain meds for women’s procedures.🤬

Hosting an event or a party at your home and requiring that guests remove their shoes when they arrive is rude. And weird. And reveals an irrational concern over dirt and germs. If you insist on doing this, make sure the invitation includes a warning!
