@finedr1965 I often neglect an intro but you're spot on. I'll be including more in my briefs. However, the ones I've seen are often inflammatory and not a persuasive opening. Done right, its very effective.

I’m often surprised at how often brief writers don’t include introductions (assuming they’re permitted or at least not prohibited by the court). I think introductions are crucial. 1/
