Bryce Noernberg is making noise in Manhattan. The 5-10, 170-pound redshirt freshman just delivered a highlight play with a 99-yard kickoff return touchdown for Kansas State. It’s remarkable to think that just two years ago, he was starring at Olathe South High School, where he put up monster numbers his senior year — throwing for 1,173 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 1,520 yards and 31 touchdowns. He finished his prep career with more than 6,000 total yards and 83 touchdowns as a dual-threat quarterback.
