@DrewSav They had the same problem I think GRRM currently has. There was way too many characters.
GRRM has spent the last 15 years trying to figure out how to bring everyone back together to finish the story in a satisfying way.
HBO just decided to start lazily killing people off.

For me one of Game of Thrones' big problems is the desire to constantly cull its ensemble cast. When the showrunners felt comfortable deviating from Martin's work it was usually to kill off characters. There's a lot of silly deaths like Stannis, Barristan, Randyll Tarly, etc.

@JoePostingg I had to transfer colleges to a cheaper school but my dad never lost his job. So I was able to skip the worst part of the great recession but It was very jarring to come home and seeing all the jobs that used to be filled by my teenage friends filled by grown men and women.

7.2% unemployment was very very bad, but if you happened to have a job the Great Recession was kind of great. I was living like a king on my $10/hour summer job.

None of my lefty friends like me for this but I am personally pro-Waymo. Driving is incredibly dangerous. We now have many studies that show Waymo’s are genuinely less dangerous. Ride share drivers’ jobs are not more important than saving lives.

I rlly don't think this true. Stuff that was popular was popular everywhere cuz we were all consuming the same stuff through cable tv and the radio. Way easier to market stuff before the internet divided us up into niche groups.
