@danielriversuk @jacobandrewsky I also use and recommend this approach to all my customers with larger project sizes. @jacobandrewsky I prefer @storybookjs or @histoire_dev to create and mange those wrapper components. It‘s perfect as workbench and documentation.

@jacobandrewsky For me, never use them directly in your application. Always build an abstraction layer between. This will allow you to easily switch out if desired. There is 100% value in using component library to start off a product, allows you to validate without spending time building UI.
