obviously a draw is not what we needed but people saying it’s a poor performance is completely wrong, did everything right up until the goal and still tried to push on from there. no game is perfect but that’s just where this squad is at right now, deserved draw imho

There isn’t much to say that hasn’t already been said about the gaping inconsistencies in sanctions made against Everton compared to other clubs.
They tenaciously tried to destroy us, without precedent, and it was a miracle plus fan power that got us through it.

Man City are being investigated for 115 charges of financial fraudulence between 2009 and 2018. Chelsea have been found guilty of financial fraudulence between 2011 and 2018. These two sides won 4 of the 9 Premier League titles in the period they are being investigated for... It's surely got to be considered the most corrupt period in Premier League history? It's also interesting to think of the impact that these titles had on their positions in 2026.

When Everton were sanctioned I felt sorry for them, but wrote a piece understanding the PL's position. Daft of me. I accepted the 'rules are rules' argument and assumed there would be consistency going forward.
Instead there has been none. PL wanted 12 pts for Everton!

Chelsea + Man City stand accused of gross financial corruption that have given them huge advantages in winning Premier League trophies. The £10.25m fine on Chelsea is a slap on the wrist. Loose change. Is this a preamble to let Man City off with a trivial fine? If guilty of 115 charges they should face relegation to League 1 or 2, just like Rangers in Scotland.
