@BowTiedPassport Your good friend is the cause of gentrificación here in México, we are not your cheatcode gringo de mierda

Some friends are building @heyato_ai in SF. They were sharing lab space with Audrey, both backed by @fdotinc.
A few weeks later, Audrey pivoted her prototype from a dog-like assistant to… basically Ato!.
Not just the product design. Same positioning, same ads, even the script of this video is the same as one Ato published months ago.
Now she claims she was first.
Is this Silicon Valley Season 7? 😂

@Rothriguez @ManolaZabalza @claudeai @AnthropicAI @SedecoCDMX no son buenas noticias; la economía crecerá más lentamente que otras que adopten esta tecnología
Español

@ManolaZabalza @claudeai @AnthropicAI @SedecoCDMX Son buenas noticias.

@MichaelFranzese The accounts trying to smear @anabelhoficial are Mexican government sock puppet accounts just FYI
English

The rule of law doesn’t exist in the shadows.
We’ve all seen the headlines about El Mencho, El Chapo and the cartels, but the headlines are just the “front.” For twenty years, Anabel Hernández has been digging into the basement of the Mexican government—and what she found is a virus that’s reached the highest levels of power. She’s survived raids, assassination attempts, and a life in exile for one reason: She knows where the bodies are buried. And more importantly, she knows who gave the order to dig the graves. In this sit-down, we aren’t talking about “street crime.” We’re talking about the business of a failed state. This is the reality they don’t want you to see. This is the truth that costs lives.

@BestShvili @BowTiedPassport yeah shipping is cheaper generally but not extremely so. the gas station attendants I think make minimum wage but do decently because of tips on top of that. truck drivers make probably at most $ 2k to $3 k USD per month, might be pretty different depending on region
English

@JovanJester @BowTiedPassport Shipping has to be cheaper no? The wages they pay to truck drivers has to also be way less. Not sure about all of Mexico but all the gas stations that I have been to someone pumping the gas me.
English

@BestShvili @BowTiedPassport cartels and politicians steal gas from ducts and sell it. the pemex workers union is very corrupt too
English

@BowTiedPassport I don’t understand how gas is so expensive in Mexico
English

@OmnipotentCEO @juliandorey the reported salaries are likely per week. $230 dollars is less than minimum wage here
English

@juliandorey Wow, this is eye opening. $230 bucks per month to be a hitman? i know the cost of living monthly is less down there but my goodness, human life has almost no value at all to these guys. Stay Ready!
English

“CJNG runs like a corporation…”
The cartel reportedly keeps organized spreadsheets, pays some sicarios around 4,000 pesos a month, and manages operations with surprising structure.
But their real power goes beyond violence — CJNG has deeply infiltrated culture and media.
As some investigators put it:
“They didn’t just build a cartel… they built a brand.”

English

@ThePrimeagen Not joking: after avoiding it for nearly fifty years, I had to learn vi today because it was the only text editor available on a system.
I thought you should know.
