As #NHLTradeDeadline approaches, Carolina Hurricanes haven't done ... anything. Still feels like they will. Though, given "prices," also might make better sense to do nothing. Many players mentioned here are still available. Let the speculation continue. newsobserver.com/sports/nhl/car…

@ZachCav Appears a high elbow from the Ducks' C set Stankoven off... Watch the replay after the puck drops, he goes in a bit high, either with the elbow or butt end. No problem with any of the calls there.

Hurricanes end up with the extra penalty out of all this, and the Ducks will start the period on the power play. Andersen/Dostál get coincidental leaving the crease penalties. McTavish/Stankoven coincidental roughings. Miller with the extra penalty for removing McT's helmet.
