So, tonight we were sitting on a 20 year old wooden bench we carried from our property in Evergreen, Colorado. I had painted it twice since moving, trying to keep it alive. Well, either I need to go on a diet, or it finally gave up the ghost. I just ordered a replacement.

@texican_1836 We had 100 bushes in Vermont - 2.5 gallons of berries per bush. I miss that soil!

@Juneaudave2005 Wish I could grow blueberries here. Not good land or water for it.

We lived in the land of Bernie and the crazies for 6 years, but absolutely loved the agricultural opportunities. We built a barn, planted apples trees, blueberry bushes, and a variety of vegetables, and also raised meat birds and laying hens. Truly was good living!

@HansenLean33459 There really are no issues with storing vinegar at room temperature, due the the high acidity levels. Non white vinegars may change colors and/or get some sedimentation, but not a problem.

@Juneaudave2005 Ask your spouse if there are problems with vinegar not being refrigerated after opening it. Thank you.

@Sierra_rak When we bought the property, it was basically a farmhouse in the middle of a hay field on a hill. For a former bureaucrat, digging in the short and seeing real results was very satisfying.
