I understand, and he has a point. Everyone is confident in their own language, regardless of national pride. But we need a common language to speak. For instance, I have not spoken my mother tongue in continuous form, so I have lost my proficiency in the language I am supposed to be able to communicate well in. So if President Putin told me the same thing, I would feel embarrassed. However, in this case, he has the right. If you are German, speak German. It is reasonable to assume that two people can speak basic things in another language; otherwise, everyone would have to know every language in the world. Imagine we live in a simulation. Let’s say it’s true — someone built it.
Then who built their simulation? And who built the one above that?
It becomes an endless chain.
Think of your own family: you have parents. They had parents. They had parents. Keep going and the tree doesn’t loop — it explodes outward into infinity. One becomes two, two becomes four, and it never stops growing.
The same problem appears with any simulation hypothesis. A loop or an infinite chain of simulators creates nothing. To have a real, defined reality — a structure with a beginning, a boundary, and actual creation — you need a starting point. Something (or Someone) that has simply existed from the beginning.
Call it God, the Infinite Creator, the Prime Source — whatever name you prefer. Without that single uncaused foundation at the top, the whole idea collapses into endless regression.
Elon Musk often talks about keeping the simulation “interesting” so the programmers don’t turn it off. But even that misses the point.
If our universe is a simulation, destroying Earth or replacing one planet doesn’t crash the entire system. The whole structure doesn’t vanish because one small part is altered. The simulation — or reality — continues because its foundation is not fragile code on a distant computer. It rests on something far more fundamental.
So whether you call it a simulation or base reality, the principle is the same: there must be a single Source at the top that was never simulated. Everything else flows from there.
