My lived experience was very different than a lot of kids in my class; being Latino from an underprivileged community made me stand out. But having teachers who were multicultural & bilingual made me feel pride in who I was. That's why we’re building a diverse teacher pipeline.

Pleasant Ridge Elementary's Winternational Festival took us on a global adventure! 🌎✈️ Families cooked up world cuisines, students showcased art masterpieces, and guests enjoyed a front-row seat to a musical extravaganza in this unique cultural experience! 🍴🖼️🎶

Enjoyed and was engaged in the learning with @DStaehrFenner on using home language as a scaffold. Some great ideas of best practices. Thank you! @MNPS_EL
