Very true and honestly it’s hard to accept at times because I still believe people can be understanding…but after being vocal here for the past 1.5 years, I’ve realised that understanding is definitely the last thing to expect on this app

Misinterpretation has and always will be part of fan culture it’s part of it bc no matter how much you explain something to someone they will always choose to believe what they already set their mind on. It’s not just childish but also blatant ignorance.

and this is NOT how Islam is meant to be understood & practiced. The kind of arguments being normalised are deeply troubling. There are reasons why many women are increasingly hesitant about marriage& I include myself in that & this is one of them because of how widespread this

Interesting how wars are named after the country attacked: Vietnam War, Iraq War, Afghanistan War, Iran War... That's because if they were named after the attacker, it would be too confusing, since 80% of conflicts would be called the US war.

Talentless actors get away with being mediocre just because they’re alright-looking, but people always want to tear actresses down over the most mundane things. That’s why I’ll always have an issue with these “criticisms” because they’re always applied strictly to women.
