LOVED the talk about using broader more inclusive terms for sex & gender in pelvic anatomy education. Using assigned female/male at birth to describe sex (AFAB & AMAB), and male & female are bimodal with intersex instead of binary. Yaaas #LGBTQ #ECA24 @thealeximp @BooteLeia

I know we are in a bit of an echo chamber on here but I think it's worth a watch. I don't think many of our news stations - particularly BBC - have covered this in anywhere near enough detail. Also it's bloody depressing just to warn you. 5

I thought it was supposed to be a comedy when we sat down to watch it, but actually it made me feel very angry and made me cry. I worked through the pandemic like many of you who might see this, wore the masks and the visors, and watched people die of COVID on a regular basis. 3/

A reminder that Norway has a £1 trillion + wealth fund for ordinary people, built over years by taxing fossil fuel giants at 78%. Last year Norway collected $89bn in tax from fossil fuel giants. They then used the fund to pay people’s energy bills. That’s the alternative way.
