I have it for the SNES. Never got far in it. Probably because I didn't really understand how to play it as a kid?

@The__Goomba I'd never have the patience to do a full-season in the League or Master League mode nowadays. Football Manager turned out to be much more fun than PES and FIFA anyway.

@KaiserBunga I must have played nothing but THUG 2 for a whole 6 months. Now I can barely play the same game for a week.

Gaming has gotten so expensive man. I can’t imagine being a teenager in this era.

@KaiserBunga Yeah same in all honesty. Wasted enough time with the handful of games I got a year.

@The__Goomba Well I think I was better off not having my PS2 chipped ass a teenager tbh. Me with 80-90 different games in the span of 3 years as a teenager? I don't think I'd ever have graduated high school...

@KaiserBunga There was a guy in my local town who'd do it for like £20 which was a deal if you didn't care about supporting developers.

@The__Goomba I didn't get a PS2 until 2005. I never knew how to get it chipped, tbh. But lots of my classmates had 70-80 different games thanks to that.

@KaiserBunga PS2 was around where I started buying my own from time to time actually, and yeah my cousin chipped his but I never would even back then.

@The__Goomba It's hard for me to remember game prices from the times I was a kid since it was not exactly my money being spent on them. Even if PS2 titles were affordable, it did not stop tons of people worldwide from chipping their PS2s and pirating games. So many kids I knew who did that

@KaiserBunga PS2 was really cheap even then. I remember they was like £25-£30 here.

@The__Goomba I don't remember how much Game Boy games cost either... As for the 2000s, I think GC and PS2 games were in the €50 territory at full price, only being 19.99 euro or so if they made it to Player's Choice or Platinum. Don't remember the prices of GBA or DS games or PSP games

@The__Goomba I didn't know that. I was too young back when the SNES was still new to remember. Were Mega Drive games cheaper?

@KaiserBunga SNES was expensive for first party. I was recently watching a home video of someone in a game store in the early 90s and Mario World was £80 back then.

@The__Goomba @GoodGameKofi I mean N64 games, specially 3rd parties, were pricey. But other than that, not really from what I remember.

@GoodGameKofi It was expensive in the 90s too to be fair most of us just got really lucky to be teens in the last two decades when gaming was relatively cheap.

That's where I pee in in the morning right before I head for the place to get my urine sample tested.
