Hey Twitter- If you;re going to ban death threat tweets directed towards Trump, you need to ban death threat tweets aimed at AOC & "The Squad", too. All death threats against publicl figures are equally wrong.

A reminder- Keir Starmer's party would not be facing one of the worst defeats a governing party has ever faced in the local, Scottish Parliament, and Senedd elections, if only he had not transformed it completely into #WhatUsedToBeLabourLLC. It will be exclusively HIS fault.

Saltwater/Monsieur Eau De Salée seems to think that, were it not for the defections, Poilievre would have brought down Carney next week. The truth is, Carney already effectively had a working majority and would have had one without the defections.

The only reason working-class Canadians have anything good in their material lives is the strength they've shown as a class- the bosses do nothing for workers unless forced.

@DrJacobsRad The Liberals were already certain to gain a majority in Monday's by-elections, and there was an election last year in which they had almost half the seats, & the smaller opposition parties weren't ready for an early election and would never have voted for one.

Canada is in a quiet democratic crisis. With 5 MPs crossing the floor to join the Liberals, the will of Canadian voters is being undermined by Carney's desire for a majority and the perfidious nature of those enabling him.
