๐Ÿ“– If you want to make it, you must become mentally strong, and you must change so you can become a more powerful version of yourself ๐Ÿ”น Pay attention to your inner monologue Almost all of us have an inner monologue that follows us through the day, narrating our thoughts and feelings as we go, but have you ever paid conscious attention to it? A mentally strong person has an inner monologue that speaks with self-assurance and positivity. What does your inner monologue say? - If you catch it saying things likeโ€ฆ โ€œI donโ€™t have enough time to finishโ€ฆโ€, or โ€œIโ€™m not skilled enough to achieve thatโ€ฆโ€ Well, itโ€™s time to start making some changes. Consciously transform these thoughts intoโ€ฆ โ€œI should properly focus so I can work fasterโ€ and, โ€œWhat skills do I need to develop to achieve that?โ€ Those are far more proactive and far more positive. These will make you keep going, never giving up, and ultimately achieving results most people only dream of. It's real. Believe in it and you shall experience it yourself. ๐Ÿ”น Donโ€™t let setbacks define you Setbacks happen. Theyโ€™re a part of life. Deep down we all know this is true, but we often deny this fact when the setback occurs to us. When faced with adversity, we often become our harshest critics donโ€™t we? โ€œNothing ever goes right for meโ€ฆโ€ or, โ€œThis wouldnโ€™t have happened to someone else..." Put a stop to those thoughts immediately. If something can be done to mitigate the setback, start working on your solution. If nothing can be done, acknowledge the setback, think about what could have prevented it, and what you can learn from this moving forward. Then, move on. Setbacks do not define you. Itโ€™s your response to setbacks that is a true representation of your character. Whatโ€™s done is done and you cannot alter the past. To get mentally stronger you have to accept that setbacks happen, and they will happen again no matter what. Even though you cannot alter the past, you can design your future. ๐Ÿ”น Change what you do professionally, where, and how you do it Staying put only confirms how mentally weak you actually are. You're scared of change, but you must do it. People waste their lives in jobs they hate, working with people they donโ€™t like, jobs that wonโ€™t make them rich or at least fulfilled, and feeling stuck on a professional hamster wheel where they dread waking up to another day because they have to work. Itโ€™s obvious from a distance, but they donโ€™t see it. If youโ€™re always in a room full of sh*t, it wonโ€™t be long until you no longer notice the smell, but rest assured the sh*t is still there. ๐Ÿ”น Change what you fuel your mind with Your mind is your most valuable asset. Every reward you will get in your life will be constructed first in your mind, so protect that gold mine of yours carefully. The mind is a fertile garden โ€“ it will grow anything you wish to plant. If you plant sh*t in it, it will grow sh*t. You should remove garbage from your house for it will fester and lead to disease, and the same happens inside your head. You need to remove garbage beliefs and ideas that are not contributing to your well-being. This is why I often say to clean your โ€œfollowingโ€ list. This space is filled with garbage that your brain will process if your eyes see. Think about it. You know better than anyone just how much time you regret wasting on endless scrolling through nonsense. Remove the garbage, add a daily dose of wisdom, and your life unlocks. ๐Ÿ”น Change what you fuel your body with I'm not going to tell you to eat a salad, but understand that your body would feel different if you changed some of the things you consume. It turns out that some of you out there are feeling depressed, not knowing that youโ€™re actually just iron deficient. It costs a couple hundred dollars to get all your blood work looked into. Theyโ€™ll tell you exactly what youโ€™re missing and why youโ€™re feeling the way you are. If you feel tired, if you canโ€™t focus, if you donโ€™t sleep well, if you donโ€™t feel motivated, if life is kind of gloomy, it means that youโ€™re deficient in some chemical your body normally fills you up with, but for some reason, it doesnโ€™t right now. Then buy the foods that supplement your deficiency to go the natural route, or get the pills if that works better for you. Changing the biochemistry in your body opens you up and allows you to live. You're in charge of EVERYTHING you consume. Consume sh*t content and sh*t food and guess what you'll be?... A large walking piece of sh*t. Youโ€™ve been running in low battery mode for months now so it's time to charge up. Instead of buying the latest iPhone, invest that money in your health and in your mind. You play games where you gain XP and get your character faster, stronger, and smarter, but you don't do that to yourself? WTF is wrong with you?... ๐Ÿ”น Change the volume Nobody ever told you this but unlocking life is actually a simple formula (simplified): Growth = (How much you do / How quickly you make decisions that impact what you do) x (How effectively you use what you know, the money you have, and the tools at your disposal) Even if youโ€™re going to make one good decision per year, meaning the time it takes to make a decision is high, you can still see massive growth if you take a lot of action and follow through. If you double the volume of effort and double the number of hours you put into your craft, you will achieve in a year what it would take everyone else two or more. By year 3 or 4, youโ€™re so far ahead that they canโ€™t catch you. You increase the speed of making decisions as well, so now youโ€™re learning faster. You invest in yourself, in your education, and in your tools, and all of a sudden your growth is 10 times that of everyone elseโ€™s, and theyโ€™re looking at you as if youโ€™re an alien. If you want life to change, you need to change the variables that contribute to it. Thereโ€™s no unlocking of life without change. ๐Ÿ”น Dream BIG The big rewards in life are exclusively reserved for those who dare to dream about their achievements. This is a skill you have to develop on your own because your parents, your teachers, and society in general lack the ability to dream big. They lack the fire that is within us. If you possess it, you will understand precisely what i mean. When you tell people youโ€™re going to be a millionaire or billionaire, they laugh at you. Their understanding of reality doesnโ€™t allow for that kind of dream. Yet, there are billionaires and millionaires in the world, so why not you? When you tell people youโ€™re going to write a bestseller, they say itโ€™s impossible. Theyโ€™ve never written a page in their lives, yet every month people publish bestsellers, so why not you? People change jobs, friends, relationships, countries, and industries all the time, so why not you? Once you do, theyโ€™ll look at you strangely. Theyโ€™ll say you changed, like you somehow worked that hard to stay the same. If you want to unlock the full potential of your life, start with changing yourself for real, or succumb to a life that you actually know it wonโ€™t be that great. If thatโ€™s enough for you, by all means, go ahead and good luck.

Note on 1R trading You can't just open a random trade with a fixed TP and expect it to work out. There's a seduction in doing so, but it isn't right; it'll likely reverse and stop you out. It has to be a clean setupโ€”only after a high or low was taken, and preferably after LTF PD arrays were respected too. In this case, you might "know" that the trade is going in the opposite direction. And here, you have several options for TP. First, you can hold a trade to the draw (opposite extreme point), but only if it aligns with the HTF direction. Second, you can set a fixed TP, but it will depend on your entry point. Sometimes even 1R trades are hard to do. I noticed that a few times a week there are clean setups. With a good entry, they provide around 3โ€“5R opportunities, while with a late entry, it is around 2R. I've been trading them for the past 3+ months, and they work great. But they add variance to trading. As you can see, yesterday my trade didn't reach the draw, even despite the fact that HTF OF was in my favor. That's when I came across this trading method. The strategy and entry reasons are the same; one just exits the trade before everyone else. Removing the variance leads to the same weekly % results. And once again, it might seem easy, but in reality, it's very hard. One still has to trade only good setups and have an immense amount of discipline to follow the process. For example, I am always fighting in my head because my ego and logic want different things; that's why doing the right thing is hardโ€”and for everyone, the right thing might differ, and that's completely okay. Ending the note here. Will rest today and look for new setups tomorrow. There are still a lot of things I need to adjust in this trading approach.

โ€œMate, how can you understand capital rotation? Do you have any tips or framework to follow?" Ok guys, letโ€™s break down one of the most important (and most ignored) concepts in trading in 4 steps. (โ—๏ธAnother share of brutal value belowโ—๏ธ) Disclaimer: this is not about predicting markets. Itโ€™s about understanding how money may move. (Yes, long post again. Same rules, only for those who want to learn and grow, the rest will skip it as always) ๐Ÿ”ธ 1st step -> What capital rotation actually is (risk on/off) Markets are not random as capital is constantly moving between asset classes: โ€ข Equities/crypto (risk) โ€ข Bonds (safety) โ€ข Currencies (liquidity) โ€ข Commodities (inflation) Big money is always reallocating. So instead of asking: โ€œIs this bullish or bearish?" I ask myself: โ€œWhere is capital flowing right now?โ€ Because thatโ€™s what drives trends. Markets, as you know, operate in 2 main regimes: โ€ข Risk-on โ†’ capital seeks returns โ€ข Risk-off โ†’ capital seeks protection ๐Ÿ”General "clues": Risk-on: - Equities trending higher - Weak USD - Strong crypto / growth - Cyclicals outperform defensives - Small caps outperform large caps - Bond prices down / yields up - Liquidity expanding (QE for example) - Real yields falling Risk-off: - Strong USD - Bonds bid - Equities weak - Gold rising - Liquidity tightening (QT) - Real yields rising If you misread this โ†’ youโ€™re fighting the environment. This becomes the primary requirement in order to build a macro thesis and elaborating on specific sectors. ๐Ÿ”ธ 2nd step -> Intermarket analysis When I built up an investment thesis I go for IMA as markets tend to confirm each other..nothing moves in isolation. As we saw before, we have a "general outlook", right? โ€ข Rising yields โ†’ pressure on equities โ€ข Strong dollar โ†’ risk assets struggle โ€ข Bond rallies โ†’ defensive positioning When markets align โ†’ higher probability When they diverge โ†’ lower conviction This is how you can build context. However, intermarket can and must be extended within specific sectors to gauge their relative strength/weakness in order to have a broader perspective. How to? With the use of synthetic indexes: x.com/IamZeroIka/staโ€ฆ โญ•๏ธExample: In the chart you find out at the bottom, I compared $BTC and a synthetic index made with: SOLUSD + XRPUSD + ETHUSD + BNBUSD. Why those altcoins? Because they're the "top caps", very well capitalized, and act as reference to understand where capital is rotating. The distributive range developed on $BTC between late November 2024/late February 2024, even to an "untrained" eye, could have been spotted through the use IMA by observing the behavior of the synthetic index. In fact, when $BTC was distributing, the index was producing the first HTF LH, signaling a rotation out from the crypto market..why? Because more speculative assets (and less liquid) experience stronger inflows or outflows and tend to anticipate $BTC movements. -------------------------------------------------------- Core "extras" to complete this part: ๐ŸŸก IMA explanation -> x.com/IamZeroIka/staโ€ฆ ๐ŸŸก Video explanation -> x.com/IamZeroIka/staโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ”ธ 3rd step -> COT Now we start adding the positioning of those who matter. COT (released every week) answers: โ€œHow is capital positioned within this flow?โ€ Not the direction (this is something you have to figure it out on your own with intuition + PA) but positioning. It shows: โ€ข Who is long โ€ข Who is short โ€ข Where trades are crowded COT splits the market into: โ€ข Commercials (hedgers) โ€ข Non-commercials (speculators) โ€ข Retail โญ•๏ธThe key idea is that speculators follow trends while commercials tend to fade extremes. So now you can combine flow (IMA) + positioning (COT) and thatโ€™s where things get interesting. โญ•๏ธExample: Take a look at the USOIL chart where the bias, due to liquidity dynamics, price action and fundamentals -> x.com/IamZeroIka/staโ€ฆ was bullish. Now put your eyes on the 2 rectangles where you read "build up" + "expansion/squeeze" having a look into the COT reports of the whole January + February. On January 6, we saw a massive drop in Open Interest which was a clear liquidity reset that wiped out positioning. Then on January 13 and 20, OI started to expand again with broad participation, and this is key as the market was building positioning, but not moving yet. (check longs being added) Moving into February, on February 3 we got a brief pullback, but then something important changed. From February 10 onward, the market started to add longs, while shorts were still stepping in. By February 17, positioning was stretched, and on February 24, OI expanded sharply with longs pushing and shorts getting forced out, triggering the breakout. When longs keep building for a lot of time and shorts keep fading the move, you create fuel and pressure โ›ฝ๏ธ in the same system. In this way, you could have be positioned together with institutions. โ—๏ธImportant note: As the COT report is being released every week, you need to constantly keep track of the positioning, elaborating a thesis with the delta provided step by step. ๐Ÿ”ธ 4th step -> How to use it + execution This is NOT an entry system. You use it to: - Build bias - Stay positioned - Avoid potential bad trades - Identify stretched markets Then you refine with: - Your entry models - Price action - Liquidity - Structure Thatโ€™s your execution layer, you don't long/short just based on COT/IMA. ๐Ÿ‘‰We can summarize my process in this way: - Understanding capital flow/building thesis (risk on-risk off) - Confirming with intermarket - Checking positioning (COT) - Finding the setup based on entry models and AMT -> x.com/IamZeroIka/staโ€ฆ - Executing If everything aligns โ†’ I engage with more confidence If not โ†’ I wait a little bit more/stay cautious I believe that most people just watch candles but very few watch flows and how to be aligned with smart money.
