As I walk away from the ground I’m wondering why I bother. I don’t have the energy to try and carry this side. Doing all this bollocks is mentally and physically draining, it starts weeks before games and continues until long after the final whistle, after big games I’m mentally fucked for days. I’ve got a family, a perfect daughter and a decent job that demands a lot from me as it is. I just can’t do this anymore. It’s pointless. I love you all, our fanbase is absolutely unbelievable, but fuck me, what’s the fucking point.
