Science, not dogma. Dialogue, not division. Shared meaning is the currency of knowledge and understanding. The road to hell is paved with green intentions.

This IS the sole purpose of the Religious Cult that is Science. Only teenagers and students that have been partying, drinking and doing recreational drugs to excess after huge Covid/HPV/Flu Vaccine Campaigns specifically for their age group suddenly become susceptible to a bacteria readily found in healthy people, the experts admitting the only reason these normal bacteria turn into killers is because of a "change in internal environment" (i.e Terrain from abusing your body with things that claim to effect the "immune System" like drink/pharma drugs/recreational drugs/stress etc). These Flu like symptoms only seeming to kill in hospitals. Instead of coming to the logical, observable conclusion that students are poisoning themselves with debauched lifestyles and hospitals are finishing them off they reject these personal senses and hand their ability to think over to the State who have told them something they can't see ( A bacteria) is the culprit and to stop it they must further poison themselves.

NASA satellites show the Earth is becoming greener. Since the early 1980s, global leaf area has increased about 15%. That equals roughly 2 billion hectares of additional vegetation - an area twice the size of the United States. Vegetation is expanding into semi-arid regions, and agricultural productivity is rising. At least 70% of the greening is driven by rising CO2. Higher CO2 allows plants to photosynthesize more efficiently. More CO2 means more plant growth. The planet is not browning, it is greening.

In 1991, Mount Pinatubo erupted with staggering force, blasting 17 million tons of sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere. That aerosol layer reflected sunlight and cooled the planet by at least half a degree C. Volcanic aerosols linger for years, altering jet streams, weakening the polar vortex, and reshaping weather worldwide. Jordan, for example, was buried under its snowiest winter on record post-Pinatubo. History shows powerful eruptions cool the planet, ruin harvests, and trigger famines. And now, climate interventionists are seeking to copy that effect. "Solar radiation management," they're calling it, which is a geoengineering strategy that seeks to deliberately dim the sun. Hundreds of millions of dollars are funding these projects, all with virtually no public oversight. What could possibly go wrong?

Between 2007 and 2012, scientists carried out extensive ice drilling in Greenland, aiming to uncover Earth's climate history from the last 125,000 years. Their findings put today's climate alarmism into perspective. "Back then, Greenland was around 8°C warmer than today. Sea levels were 4-8m higher." "Yet the planet didn't collapse and Greenland didn't melt. There were no tipping points and no mass extinctions." "The planet was far warmer and life flourished." Credit: @Electroversenet

Christopher Hitchens: ”In 1786, when the United States was barely a country, it was having its sailors taken as slaves by the Barbary states, the states of the Ottoman Empire and North Africa. Tripoli, shores of Tripoli. Ships stopped, its crews carried off into slavery. We estimate 1.5 million European and American slaves taken between 1750 and 1815. Jefferson and Adams went to their ambassador in London and said, why do you do this to us? The United States has never had a quarrel with the Muslim world of any kind. We weren't in the crusades. We weren't at war with Spain. Why do you do this to our people and our ships? Why do you plunder and enslave our people? The ambassador said very plainly, Mr. Abdul Rahman said, because the Quran gives us permission to do so, because you are infidels, and that's our answer. Jefferson said, well, in that case, I will send a navy which will crush your state, which he did. Islamic fundamentalism is not created by American democracy. It's a lie to say so. It's a masochistic lie, and it excuses those who are the real criminals, and blames us for the attacks made upon us.”

@RARohde So, in the grand scheme of things, is 90 years really that significant?

The current heatwave in the US Southwest is utterly destroying many records for this time of year. Phoenix, Arizona has ~90 years of daily temperature data, and yet recent temperatures beat the previous March record by 5 °F (2.8 °C), and would actually tie the record for April.

365 years of temperature data from central England, the world's longest running climate record, show no trend. Despite a six-fold rise in population and a surge in CO2, January temperatures have barely shifted since 1600. Likewise for July, the hottest month of the year, temperatures are virtually unchanged. Even during the coal-fired Industrial Revolution there was no sudden spike. The warmest winters on record occurred in the 1700s, the 1800s, and the early 1900s, long before modern emissions. Any warming appears slow and natural, with the slight modern uptick likely linked to two factors: 1) the urban heat island effect, and 2) Earth's gradual recovery from the Little Ice Age. If carbon dioxide truly controlled the climate, the CET record would shoot upward on the right. It does not.

From a geological point of view.... The present warming trend is NOT warmer than the past 120,000 years. It's not even warmer than the past 6000-7000 years over the Holocene thermal maximum when corrected to the same temporal resolution as past proxy data.

@EdwardJDavey Imagine not understanding the difference between common sense and the freedom to worship. Without common sense how can we expect the ignorant fools to understand that good acts can be used to intimidate and bully others.

The Washington Post wants you to think wildfire trends began in 2000, but that's not true. The historical record goes back a century and it tells a very different story. Clear to see, in the early 20th century, US wildfires routinely burned four to five times more land than they do today, long before modern emissions. The data show wildfires are driven by land management, fuel load and natural cycles - not CO2. Emitting history isn't science, it's propaganda.

MIT Professor Emeritus of Meteorology Dr. Richard Lindzen has spent decades inside the heart of the climate establishment. He helped write IPCC reports and he says the science is nothing like the apocalyptic headlines. Quote: "Even the IPCC, if you read Working Group I, the actual science section, doesn't support these doomsday claims." Lindzen says the scary narratives pushed by politicians and media are built on distortion, not data. And even inside the IPCC, many scientists know it.

Most renewable electricity in the world is not wind or solar, it is hydropower. Hydro produces about 14% of global electricity, and more than half of all renewable power. It is reliable, dispatchable, and produces virtually no CO2 - yet many environmental groups oppose new dams. The same contradiction appears with nuclear power. Nuclear produces zero operational CO2, runs 24 hours a day, and uses far less land than wind or solar. If cutting emissions were truly the priority here, the focus would be obvious: Hydropower and nuclear, not endless wind and solar expansion.

Wilberforce got the statue. This man got the mud. Thirty-five thousand miles of it. His name was Thomas Clarkson. Born in England. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Cambridgeshire. 1760. He was twenty-four years old when Cambridge set him an essay question. "Is it lawful to make slaves of others against their will?" He knew nothing about slavery. So he started reading. Two months later he couldn't stop. He won the prize and rode home to London with something nobody had given him. A conscience he couldn't put down. Halfway there, on a quiet country road, he stopped his horse. Sat in the silence of the English countryside. The trade was real. He had just proved it. And somebody had to stop it. So he gave up the church and got to work. Bristol. Liverpool. Every slave port in Britain. Into the taverns, the back rooms, the ships. Asking sailors what they had seen below decks. Men who had been there. Who knew what happened on the Middle Passage. Some refused. Some were threatened. Some were bought. Clarkson kept riding. Thirty-five thousand miles. Ten years. Every testimony written down in longhand on the road. All of it handed to a young MP named William Wilberforce. Wilberforce went to Parliament and gave the speeches. Clarkson saddled up and went back out. In 1792 they put a petition together. Not from London. Not from the powerful. From ordinary men and women. Market towns, village squares, chapel steps across England. Four hundred thousand signatures. The largest petition in British parliamentary history. Parliament voted it down. So they went again. And again. Eighteen years of going again. 25 March 1807. The Slave Trade Act passed. Britain outlawed the trade and turned the Royal Navy loose to hunt the ships. History gave Wilberforce the statue. Coleridge called Clarkson the moral steam engine of the abolition movement. Clarkson lived to see slavery abolished completely in 1833. An old man of seventy-three, who had started this at twenty-four. He died in 1846. The last surviving founder of the original committee. He never held office. Never gave the famous speeches. He just got back on the horse. For sixty years. Did they teach you his name? Together we keep our history alive. proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us. Be Proud Of Us. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

From 2008 to 2015, Antarctic sea ice was running at record highs. Then the system flipped. By 2017, sea ice had hit record lows. A new study explains why. A cold surface layer in the southern ocean had been gradually thinning since 2005, while warmer deep water was slowly rising closer to the surface. Then in 2015, strong winds mixed that heat upward, disrupting the ocean structure and rapidly reducing sea ice. The paper concludes the decline was a "result of atmospheric forcing" and "ultimately triggered by strong winds in 2015." It was a natural, wind-driven event, in other words (not a CO2 melt story), and one today's climate models fail to reproduce, according to the authors. Looking at the latest data, another swing may be playing out. Sea ice is surging in 2026, with extent currently higher than in the early 1980s.
