KuCoin introduces the Quarterly VIP Level Shield A new protection mechanism designed to support high-tier VIP users during changing market conditions. For users with VIP5 and above, potential downgrades will now follow a structured adjustment model: • Downgrades limited to 1 level every 30 days • Quarterly protection to maintain minimum privilege levels Higher-tier VIP users also receive additional protection thresholds: VIP9–VIP12 users maintain higher minimum protected levels depending on their VIP tier. This ensures key privileges remain accessible during temporary market fluctuations.

The VIP Level Shield is designed to prevent abrupt VIP tier drops caused by short-term activity changes or market cycles. This allows long-term clients to maintain greater continuity in their platform privileges while remaining active in the KuCoin ecosystem.
