‼️UPDATE‼️ We are saddened to update that the body of Michael Bayne has been found in Mesa. Mesa Police will be taking over the death investigation.

NEW: I've confirmed that the man recently detained and questioned in connection to the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case is 37-year-old Luke Daley. His criminal defense attorney in multiple Pima County cases, Chris Scileppi, issued @12News the statement below denying any involvement.

The DNA that was submitted to CODIS was from the set of gloves found 2 miles away. It did not trigger a match in CODIS & did not match DNA found at the property. The DNA found at the property is being analyzed & further testing needs to be done as part of the investigation.

DNA evidence from gloves found approximately 2 miles from Nancy Guthrie's residence was submitted to CODIS & produced no matches. There is additional DNA evidence that was found at the residence that is also being analyzed.

REMINDER: FBI reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.
