Positively Negative in Mrs. Kavanagh’s 3rd grade class at Loyola. It’s so fun to hear all of the different interpretations of the childrens' artwork as they share their finished projects with the class. @lasdk8@LAEFOnline@LAADocent@lasdk8
There are many new "blending" fans in Ms Burke's fifth grade class at Almond after their "Fauve Landscape" lesson! Students abstracted shapes and then layered and blended with oil pastels to create their own colorful "Fauvist" landscapes. @lasdk8@LAEFOnline@LAADocent
Watercolor Still Life in Debbie Longo’s 6th grade class at Loyola. I love watching the kids as they practice blending colors and see their paintings come to life. @lasdk8@LAEFOnline@LAADocent
Our Clay Wickiups compliment the students’ study of local traditions and the Ohlone tribes. Here is Alex Magnuson’s 3rd grade class from Oak. @lasdk8@LAEFOnline@LAADocent
"How do you know that's the right side up?" was just one of many questions Allison White's TK class at Oak had about abstract art. The lesson that prompted the curiosity - Kandinsky Creations! @lasdk8@LAEFOnline@LAADocent
