Conventional organic Schottky diodes suffer from flaws that can hinder their deployment in RF electronics. Researchers found a way to overcome these issues, developing an organic Schottky diode able to operate within the 5G range. @TDAnthopoulos 👉ow.ly/ITnn50HGkcz

Together with @TDAnthopoulos & @GroupHeeney we show a solid-state biosensor that exploits the phenomenon of fringing current, making real-time sensing possible. Despite being diffusion limited, real-time reading can be done under 2 mins for proof-of-concept #COVID19 detection 👇
