Update on the @BetterBank_io incident: We’re supporting BetterBank as best we can, and so far they’ve recovered the protocol from bad debt, a very promising sign. At the same time, we acknowledge our audit should have been more thorough. Our PoC used test ETH (a legitimate token). The same issue could be reproduced with bogus tokens, but we didn’t explicitly state that in the PoC, which led to the severity being downgraded. The finding itself was correct, but our communication fell short.

Looks like the @BetterBank_io exploiter may have just returned 500m $pDAI back to them. scan.mypinata.cloud/ipfs/bafybeidn… This is the address that requested the return of the funds, and was first funded by 0xc0702Ae0374F83fc3bA71CE2B30A323b09EC19da ( a doxxed wallet of the co-founder)
