@japan_nobunaga Both. 20% is normal , but the tipping culture has gotten out of hand.

@Rose_nyla01 She should have shut and locked the door. Than move out of the perverted man's house

@terri4436166795 Absolutely you can take next year off. You can also tell everyone over the age of 5 to help out.

I know not many will read this but I need suggestions:
Since I became a grandmother I have been very active in my grandchildren's lives. I live in one state and 3 of grandchildren live in another. I have kept my grandchild every summer since he was born, now that grandchild has multiplied to 3 from a son that is now divorced and have been living in my house for 3 years. My daughter, who lives in my same city, also has 2 kids and insists that when the Florida children are here I keep her children also. There ages are 15, 13, 13, 12, and 10
Ok here is my problem, although all my children have very good jobs, none of them help financially.
And I just went outside and cut my grass while all grandchildren and son sat in the air conditioning. When I was done I walked back into a sink full of dishes and I have to finish their laundry. No one helps with that either.
Would I be wrong to say that next year I want to take a year off. With no grandkids

@SerioJoshehe So the little girl should go into the men's room, where y'all got you junk hanging out. I'm OK with dad bringing her into the ladies room.

@thedaywar90 There's nothing wrong with this shirt. Would you have been ok with a let's go Brandon shirt? Same thing
English

I cannot believe that COSTCO, a family store where there are many children with their parents would allow this POS wear that shirt in the store. I will be contacting COSTCO CORPORATE later today. I know we, in the USA 🇺🇸, have freedom of speech but not hate speech or these kind of statements when in a public place. President Donald J. Trump should take action.

@tatertotsconor You shouldn't look into others windows and be shocked what you see inside

@capuccino_icee That looks like a low country boil that someone tried and failed at. Looks good though

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic..... 🤔🤔

English

@LowellCouncilor I can't, it might have been a snoozefest today but this show has been hitting it for awhile now. Don't be such a downer
English

@RobertMSterling I bet if the agent had made the announcement the reaction would have been different. I'm happy the Pilot took ownership and didn't leave it to someone else

I just had the craziest experience at the airport.
We are about to board a flight to Atlanta when the pilot from the incoming plane walks out of the jetway. Guy is probably late 50s, salt and pepper hair, military look. The kind of pilot you instantly feel good about seeing on your flight.
Pilot walks over to the counter, gets on the PA system, and starts addressing everyone. “Folks, I’ve been doing this a long time. Flying one of these jets is easy. The hard part is looking at 130 people and telling them their flight is going to be delayed.”
Audible groans throughout the boarding gate. Most people here are flying to Atlanta as a layover before another flight. 130 people just had their day become a complete mess.
The pilot goes on. “I get it, trust me. But here’s the deal: During our landing, we had a small mechanical issue. I’m not your pilot for the next leg, but I don’t feel confident the jet’s safe to fly until we have a mechanical team look it over, and I don’t feel comfortable asking the next pilots to fly you guys until we get confirmation.”
He points at the agents next to him behind the counter: “Now, none of this is the agents’ fault. Please be kind to them. I’m the one who made this decision, not them, so any inconvenience you experience is my fault. Just please know that I don’t do this lightly, and I’m only doing it because I believe it’s in the best interests of everyone’s safety.”
Now this is where the story gets crazy. The pilot puts the microphone down, grabs his suitcase, and all the people in the gate…
Start clapping.
I’m not joking, everyone starts clapping for the guy. 130 people who just had their travel plans ruined give an ovation to the guy who made the decision and delivered the message.
All because he addressed them with decency and transparency, took ownership of the decision, made it clear that it was necessary, and explained why it was in everyone’s best interest.
It’s honestly one of the best examples of strong communication—of strong leadership, for that matter—that I’ve seen in a long time.
@Delta, whoever your Atlanta to Wichita pilot was this morning, he’s one of the good ones. Please tell him the delayed passengers of flight 1637 appreciate what he did.
