It's sad how ARMYS constantly dismiss or belittle V's achievements. These are the same people who'll use his love for the group for their ot7 agenda but think nothing of belittling him. It's just incredibly sad.

This flashback to the K media report about Taehyung’s military service clearly states that his unit is indeed special forces. Why am I pointing this out now? A prominent YouTube channel spread misinformation that it was military police which is not part of special forces. Here’s a news flash, his unit was one of 5 counterterrorism forces, so anyone still clinging to myths created by stans of other idols intent on diminishing Taehyung’s actual achievements, read this article. The police don’t handle explosives. They call in a S.W.A.T. team with training in disarming explosives. Police officers don’t rappel down buildings or cable out of helicopters. All of these skills are acquired through special forces training, so to all the gullible pixels who were convinced Tae was “just a cop” educate yourselves. BTW, that attitude was an insult to law enforcement officers worldwide, whose lives are at risk every day they serve the public! SDT TAEHYUNG we boldly salute your outstanding service to your country! You are a true ACE!

Recently, through an interview with the American music magazine Rolling Stone, he opened up about his music, acting, and the reflections he had during military service. It was filled with another side of Kim Taehyung as a person, different from the glamorous image seen on stage. In this interview, V clearly revealed his own philosophy toward acting and music. What was interesting is that he does not see acting and music as separate fields. V said that he approaches both acting and music with the same mindset, showing his determination not to be confined to just one genre. In fact, many of us still strongly remember his appearance in the drama Hwarang, but he shared his ambition to experience more diverse genres and roles in the future. Rather than settling into one fixed image, just as he shows different colors through music, he wants to take on a variety of characters in acting as well. It is a part that highlights V’s artistic perspective, as he sees acting too as an extension of music, a way of expressing his emotions.
