Here's a quick update from Gallows Wharf and Gallows Reach. Bricks, steps and channel preparations. 😃

The scaffold platform is down at the Narrows, which means the Roman numerals are fully on display, and they look fantastic. Work is moving on quickly - the gabion baskets are being prepared, ready to be added to the top, and you can really see the wall is nearly ready for them.

Down at the Narrows, our brickie volunteers have been hard at it. The towpath wall has come almost as far as it can go now, just the final few courses of bricks to go. Over on the offside, things are nearly complete too, and Geoff and Tony’s masterpiece will be fully seen.
