On March 29, we celebrate Founders Day, the anniversary of the founding of the Knights of Columbus in 1882. On this day, the Connecticut legislature approved the charter for the organization Blessed Michael McGivney founded with a group of Catholic men in New Haven, who set out with a bold vision: to support one another in faith, protect families in times of need, and serve their communities with charity and unity. What began in a parish basement has grown into a global brotherhood, rooted in the same mission and values that inspired its founding. Founders Day isn’t just about looking back; it’s a reminder of what’s still possible when faith leads to action. Let’s honor that legacy today by living it: in our families, in our parishes, and in the everyday opportunities we have to serve. Blessed Michael McGivney, pray for us! Learn more: bit.ly/3Ps9mqS
