A disapointing cup exit and 2nd half performance which to some degree mirrored the league game. Occassionally, and certainly on this surface/these opponents Gerards brand of football is almost impossible to execute and requires an alternative plan.

Horrible 2nd half. Ends 1-0 Wrens. Plenty of effort from Gerards but lacking any fluidity and guile. Wrens stiffled the play and slowed it down to their pace and scrapped out the win.
