The #MUDGIRL Run returned to Florida this past weekend, May 17โ18, 2025, at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Burt Aaronson Regional Park, west of Boca Raton. This empowering event featured a 3-mile course with over 17 obstacles, including mud pits, climbing walls, and inflatable challenges.
Designed for women of all ages and fitness levels, the race emphasized fun and camaraderie over competition, with no timing and optional obstacles. Participants, ranging from 7-year-olds to women in their 80s, joined in waves throughout the day, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
The event also served a meaningful cause, with proceeds benefiting the Pink Army Foundation, which supports breast cancer fighters through mental health coaching, nutrition guidance, and exercise programs .
This year marked a significant expansion, with the event spanning two days to accommodate over 8,000 participants. The festival opened at 7:45 a.m., with the first wave of runners starting at 8:30 a.m. and the last wave at 2:29 p.m., ensuring a smooth flow for all attendees . Spectators were also welcomed, with tickets available for $10, and children under 16 admitted free of charge.
The MUDGIRL Run continues to unite women, inspire strength, and support a vital cause, making it a standout event in South Floridaโs fitness and community calendar.
