@LancsHT Oh I totally agree! That part is very frustrating! We have moans about lack of pics on social media when we’re on a residential but very few thank yous!

Having been away on a residential with the children, absolute admiration to the many teachers that give up their time to do this- 24/7 responsibility, being away from their families, additional costs. You absolute amaze me!

@Suey2chaussures Agreed that there are so many positives. I’m just not sure that the credit is given, mainly by parents/other staff, to those who’s life goes on hold for the week. Much respect 🫡

@PrimaryCoHead Hmm. Trouble is that we don’t have many outdoor first-aid trained staff so we’d have to reduce options after-school ☹️

@LancsHT My understanding is that only DfE can give statutory instructions. But, if an accident happened, the LA may not back you up if they’d advised you to do something which you didn’t do. Tricky.
