South Africa stand with Iran.
Gcobani Ndzongana@gndzongana

Dear @IraninSA I am writing to you in my capacity as the Leader of the @LandPartySA and as a South African indigenous citizen. I respectfully request that you disregard the recent statements made by the newly elected leader of the Democratic Alliance (DA), Geordin Hill-Lewis, suggesting that Iran is not a friend of South Africa. It is important to note that Mr. Hill-Lewis is of European descent, and his loyalties and allegiances are likely aligned with the European Union or the United States of America. In contrast, I, the Land Party, and many other indigenous Black South Africans regard Iran as a true friend and ally of our people. To further strengthen the bonds of friendship between our nations and to demonstrate the warm welcome that awaits Iranians in the Western Cape, I kindly propose that the Iranian Embassy consider investing in extra classes in Science and Mathematics within my constituency in the Western Cape. This initiative would help show that the Western Cape is not a no-go area for Iranians; rather, it is a home and a place of friendship for the Iranian people. Thank you for your kind attention and continued support. Yours sincerely, Gcobani Ndzongana Leader, Land Party South Africa

Yesterday, 13 April 2026, the Patron of the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, H.E. Thabo Mbeki, received a courtesy visit from the U.S. Ambassador to South Africa, L. Brent Bozell III. The meeting centred on the strategic importance of recalibrating SA-US relations, anchored firmly on the principle of mutual respect.

Sixolisile Gcilishe loves Comrade President Julius Malema unconditionally. I know my brother and Comrade President Julius Malema is currently facing serious challenges. My words to him are: When the enemy wants to destroy you, it first isolates you from the people who are loyal to you. They attack and possibly eliminate them so that you become vulnerable and easier to finish off. These are the times when the enemy will try to attack those around you. Remain extra vigilant, Comrade President Julius Malema, the Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary forces. Salute!

Elon Musk has raised a very serious issue: the South African government allegedly wanted him to operate in the country through fake fronting, while some government officials demanded bribes for Starlink to be allowed to operate. These allegations cannot simply be dismissed. They are raising serious concerns, and South Africans must demand clear answers on how American and other foreign companies are operating in our country. We may assume that foreign companies are complying with the law, but in reality, many are not — they are reportedly paying bribes to government officials to do business. Musk’s allegations warrant investigation by the Madlanga Commission. It should examine how Microsoft, Amazon, and other American and foreign companies are operating in South Africa, and identify the individuals who are the beneficiaries of the 30% ownership requirements.

South Africans today are divided by problems caused by Dutch colonial settlers. Some are accusing the poor of being xenophobic and Afrophobic, while others accuse people of defending illegal foreigners. Once again, the Dutch colonial settlers’ strategy of divide and rule is working. The @LandPartySA warned about this seven years ago and urged the Department of Labour to force businesses to employ 90% locals and only 10% foreign nationals. This measure was intended to prevent conflict between poor South Africans and poor African migrants. The Land Party further warned that Dutch colonial settlers are fomenting xenophobic attacks by setting South Africans against their fellow Africans. They do this by excluding South Africans from the economy and workplaces while prioritising illegal migrants for cheap labour. Some businesses even applied for protection orders against me so they could continue employing foreigners over South Africans, thereby perpetuating xenophobic tensions. I warned those businesses that their conduct would result in conflict between South Africans and foreigners, but they chose the court instead of heeding my advice. Now the same businesses want me to sympathise with them when the poor vandalise their properties. I will not. I stand firmly with the poor and frustrated South Africans. No loving nation can condemn its own citizens when they are unhappy. If the government continues to pussyfoot around the legitimate concerns of South Africans and fails to take decisive action against these businesses, South Africans will follow the example of some Royal Houses and side with the enemy. South Africa does not have the luxury of time to allow an unhappy population. Otherwise, the same Dutch colonial settlers who caused these xenophobic tensions will mobilise the same poor communities against the government — just as we saw with the King of the AbaThembu, who was easily recruited by the enemy. The real culprits are the businesses. By dealing with these businesses, poor South Africans will have no reason to turn their attention to African migrants. The government must start being proactive and deal decisively with those who break the law. It must crack down on criminal activities, drug syndicates, gangsterism, human trafficking, and all illegal activities, including those who undermine traditional leadership, before citizens take the law into their own hands. The properties where many of these illegal activities take place are owned by Dutch colonial settlers. Therefore, we cannot condemn our citizens for torching buildings that belong to the enemy and harbour criminal activities. Accusing the poor of being xenophobic and Afrophobic is counter-revolutionary. Accusing people of defending illegal foreigners simply because they disagree with your strategy is also counter-revolutionary. Let us unite behind our people and isolate the businesses that are creating these problems in our country. We must totally blacklist company directors who are perpetuating xenophobic tensions by employing foreigners over South Africans.

The government must evict Dutch colonial settlers from our strategic mountains and seek Iran's assistance to build new military assets.
