I beat the last campaign of re6 Ada’s campaign. Man that games story was pretty rough… the redeeming quality’s of that game is it’s fun, and Chris’s campaign is actually good. Oh and Ada’s imaginary friend agent. Man Leon’s story sucked balls though.

@AquaImperative I didn’t care for Jake’s too much. Chris is like a diamond in the rough though. Leon’s story could have been good if it continued to focus on Helena and not him simping over Ada. Plus Simmons is such a weak villain.

@Lastgen01 Chris and Jake are peak in that game. Leon's story sucks, and it sucks even more that most people are going to start with it (I did)

I think the Call of Duty games have a lot of neat enemy designs but the Perseus goons in Black Ops Cold War are probably among my favorites :)

@bruhmanguy42 That’s the issue yeah. If they can actually stick to the decade then it will be unique. If they can make a plot that isn’t silent protagonist was brainwashed again that would also be nice. That setting is the perfect setting for a mind bending dark spy thriller…

Early 2000’s would definitely be the perfect black ops setting with all the wild conspiracy theory’s floating around in the Y2K era. Now treyarch being able to execute that is an entirely different story.

What is Treyarch even going to do for their 2028 game? It's interesting how we have like no idea what direction they will even go in. The realistic outcome is they will probably do a game in the early 2000s and the story is a sequel to BO6 with Adler returning. The unlikely but cooler outcome would be a Zombies-themed game or something in the far future.

@Nichola29745255 I’d love a Korean War game or hell id love treyarch to try a ww1 game unfortunately I fear the setting is not the issue. Vanguard is a prime example of a setting that was really really butchered. And I think we would get another vanguard before another WAW

True true. Like if they *seriously* sit down to try and make look different, they could, but until then, I rather the era be different just to avoid that.
Bare min, I have hope for zombies given so far each map feels mechanically and visually different. Just hope they can do something with the campaign to make it stand out from iw/shg's upcoming campaigns 🙏
..more in the typical black ops way, less b07 campaign tho aha

@Nichola29745255 I mean I’d argue the reason these games look so similar is because they don’t stick to the time period. I’d argue black ops 6 really doesn’t feel like a 90’s game at all outside of the campaign

I think I either prefer a hard reboot in the 60s era like og black ops, or a prequel set in the korean war. I'm not against them trying a 2000s game but like...
On top of being burned out on modern cod, like legit the era of modern from the late 80s to 2020s, I think they need a big disconnect from the current black ops timeline.
Do something where they can more feely mess around story wise and not have to worry about the current timeline too much, before they go back to another sequel
