Amir Movahedi, just 25 years old, came from Rasht in Iran’s Gilan Province. In that same city, he owned a barbershop where he poured his heart into his craft, blending art and passion every day. Those who knew him remembered him as a kind friend, full of energy and bravery, alive with enthusiasm for life and hopeful for a brighter future ahead. During the protests, as he made his way home, he was struck from behind by a live round fired by the Islamic Republic’s forces. He was buried in Lakan, where he now rests. He once shared, “This year is the year of change,” and for his last birthday, he wished health and happiness for everyone.
