Senior Devs If you lead a team how strict are you with coding standards. Does it pay to be ultra strict or is there benefit to giving more freedom? Suspect the ideal, but boring answer is in the middle somewhere. But interested in opinions on this matter.

@theandreboso The advice could be more like "charge as much as you can" + keep testing your price point. But there's so many variations in products you can't possibly apply this to everything.

“Charge more” is bad advice. You can do it when you have a strong brand or a unique product. Otherwise keep your prices low.

So much competition for your time! I'm going to have to find new ways to carve out side-project time. TV/entertainment is the easiest thing to cut out. Family, Sport & Socializing can't be. Saying this I have begun a little design work on MamboNo2 so not all bad.

-Transitioning jobs - I've been focusing a lot on preparing to leave my current company in a good state & also prepping for my new role. -Nice weather more tennis, gardening & outdoor play with the kids. -Line Of Duty had to be watched on TV!

I've completely dropped off the planet recently in terms of working on side-projects and engaging on Twitter. There's a few reasons why: -Lots of social plans as the UK emerges from lockdown. Catching up with friends is important.

I would think Advertising-Funded websites now have a large Google SEO disadvantage as loading ads makes it harder to have; - a good First Paint score. (they often prioritize loading ads first) - a good Cumulative Shift score. (ads are more likely to make your layout jump)
