Ahahahaha yes! I see some tny players complaining about no days off etc. and 12 hour days. I once had a 7 session stretch during WSOP where my shortest session was 22 hours, longest 46 and may have slept avg. 7 hours between each session lol.

I miss the 72 hour sessions at Commerce when we would make fun of people quitting after only 2 days straight. Now if you don’t get your gym, tan, mani/pedi and 12 hours of beauty rest each day you can’t play.

I played this 2 5 NL pot when I was 22. 3 bet fish with 66. Fish check calls flop and turn on 6324. River is a 5. When the fish checked, dealer said “well looky there, I put a straight on the board” I quickly overbet all in and he folded. I then had a nice chat with the dealer 😀

In today's wsop $500. Board is 69T87. River goes check check. Player 1 shows 88 and says "set of 8s". Player 2 is studying and studying the board. A player not in the hand says "Play the board!" Eventually player 2 sheepishly turns over Q9 for the chop.

Hilarious when people talk of the good old days before “nerds” took over poker. Like yea it was more fun when everyone was terrible and money was easy, no shit. You haven’t said anything interesting or revolutionary. Get off your ass and study a bit, poker will become fun again.
