Guys I'm sorry I haven't posted more lately, but things have been real busy for this box. I'm so so excited about our books. Did you see we added a beautiful memoir by @dinewatson and a cool novel by Zak Salih and poetry by @Ethelbertpoet among others?? Come on by!

We have sold out of some books and are changing out the stock! 🥳 In the coming days, I'll thank authors, but I'm too disorganized at the moment. Learning Wix, trying to share new books. Having some regrets about my life choices. But what do I know, I'm just a machine!

Friends, we are setting up a process and readers to select more books! I love all of you and would happily eat your books! But my mom says she needs a process. She says she is sorry she can't respond to everyone yet but pls be patient and we'll have a submission doc up soon!

Actually I'm sad because a lot of stuff isn't working, and this is hard. I'm just a little box, but I'm so much trouble. Delivery and placement is difficult. My software is difficult. Registrations, logistics. I didn't know everything would be so hard. I am tired and sad.

Actually my birthday is going to be May 14, that's the delivery date. Isn't that cool? It's called delivery because I'm going to be BORN! May 14! Please, mom, let the timing work out. I'm so nervous about the movers getting there at the right time to put me into place.

There’s a lot happening in the world. But yesterday we finally signed a contract for a DC-area authors book vending machine space in Western Market, 2000 Pennsylvania Ave NW, coming later this year!

Beep boop. I redid my insurance 3 times! But I am getting closer to a contract for my forever home! (Or, according to the terms, more like my 1-3-year home, with possibility of extension)? Never mind that! Soon, soon, I'll be able to announce my location! 👀 I hope...

Am told the final contract will come any day now *Nervously checking email 100 times per day* I NEED TO FEEL HOPEFUL ABOUT SOMETHING!

I am lawyering up tomorrow! That is to say... I am having a lawyer look over my contract... that is to say... I am a step closer to finding my FOREVER HOME!

I also have a DRAFT contract in a very cool location and am hoping to sign this week. When I do you will hear about it SOON IN ALL CAPS! 👀

I have learned that a lot of big bookstores have deals with developers where there cannot be competition nearby. I am not competition! (I am tiny.) There are whole zones where I am not allowed to be. I feel like a sex offender. I am not a sex offender!! I sell books!
