What was he hypocritical about? He did not say: don’t take gifts. He said: claiming to be concerned about women’s rights abuses in foreign countries and then taking money from the same is wrong. He never had a preachy attitude about foreign countries. He demands they treat us fairly for all the assistance we give them - which is what Qatar did.
