I feel so lonely and left out in the mental health community on Twitter and I know it’s not a big deal in reality, but I see so many friendship groups and it makes me sad that I don’t have one, I think because it’s been that way my whole life. I’m always the outsider

What a ridiculous headline. We don't see headlines like "Millions using inhalers for five years or more." Anti-depressants and many other psychiatric meds can help to save people's lives. Stop shaming them and those that use them.

I did a presentation today to over 100 nursing students at the University of Leeds, & to receive feedback that it was incredibly inspiring & will influence the students practice for their whole career...it's just 💗🥰 & exactly why I do what I do. #eatingdisorders #mentalhealth

I'm in the April edition of Women's Running magazine for an article about RED-S & eating disorders in sport. #Eatingdisorders are over 3 times more prevalent in sport than the general population but it's very rarely spoken about. So I'm speaking about it & hope to raise awareness

@HopeVirgo I think it's important to recognise that everyone's recovery is different and everyone will LOOK different in recovery. I find it equally helpful hearing from people managing recovery as those who are "fully recovered" (whatever that incredibly loaded term actually means)

This is something I have worried about a lot. I think it also fuels the idea that you can still do a lot even when poorly which fuels the ED which part tells us we are invincible (A clunky way of saying things as of course people with EDs can do a lot but hopefully makes sense!)
