These are the Israeli conditions just for a ceasefire in Lebanon: 1) A Buffer zone in southern Lebanon up to the Litani River, cleared of any Hezbollah presence and infrastructure. At least part of it would be permanently ethnically cleansed. 2) Full military freedom of action to remove threats, including north of the Litani River. In other words, allowing Israel to operate freely anywhere in the country. 3) A long-term process to disarm Hezbollah, under an American oversight mechanism. Israel is expecting Lebanon to completely surrender its sovereignty in exchange for a temporary ceasefire. It is also worth noting that Israel violates every ceasefire it ever signed daily.

Bint Jbeil is a town in southern Lebanon with a heritage dating back over 2,500 years. It has now been reduced to rubble by Israel military bombardment. This sort of atrocity is happening across southern Lebanon. The humanitarian cost for innocent civilians is enormous.
