Saw Hoiberg referenced having four players on the court but not sure we got a full explanation? For the record that is not on the refs at all. There's no rule you have to have five players on the court, you just can't have more. Remember that Alabama-Minnesota game where the Tide only had three eligible players?

@LizStrand Exactly. Basically they just need to find a woman to run this. I'd also be in favor of the Men and Women overlapping as little as possible. Like Tuesday and Wednesday had no games, shift it.

I will NEVER understand why the NCAA times games out like this. It’s Thursday night. Start one at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm. How many ratings are you losing by having 2 games, with less than 5 minutes left, that are going down to the wire. Tip-offs being 20 minutes apart is crazy.

@SKarrG0 The journey is the most important part. A championship would be awesome, of course. But I am a Vikings fan, so I am used to that not happening. I have still enjoyed a lot of Vikings seasons too (not this last one, but a lot of other ones). It just sucks when it is over.

If you can’t find any joy in a group of 18-24 year olds overcoming a lot of adversity to grow as a group of players and people, while winning 31 games and probably maximizing their season, I can’t help you.

If the only way you can find joy in college basketball is winning a national title, you have no business watching the sport.
Gonzaga has had like 4 (maybe 5) teams actually capable of winning a championship in their 30 year run. Plenty of joy has still been had in all 30.

Doesn’t matter how pretty or how ugly it is, every NCAA Tournament win counts the same. For all the success Gonzaga has had the last 30 years, I’m always in awe of their first round winning streak of 17 games. That’s insane. On to Saturday we go.
