By the way the lobby in competition with EVโ€™s (I wonโ€™t take names because of all the PECA inquires against me, but you know who they are) is so scared they have been lying to the government that BYD is not investing in country. After that no one will buy their ICE cars except their B2B accounts and even those will finish in next 2 years as BYD hires a high touch sales team. They want government to increase duties on EVโ€™s from 25% to 50%. They are traitors to the country because our biggest import bill is oil. Having lost on innovation and customer preference, theyโ€™re trying the lobbying route. PM feels something if not right so heโ€™s made a committee of Ishaq Dar, Musadik Malik & Haroon Akhtar.
