@m0pan_40k The codexes mention that fire warriors are enrolled in the academies as soon as they are able to walk. This leads me to believe that they aren't born knowing how to walk, although I think they grow quite quickly.

Do you think tau are precocial like most irl ungulates where the babies are born 'ready to go' able to walk and stuff... like a baby tau would look like a normal tau just really small while a human baby is like some sort of helpless blob in comparison

I'm somewhat disappointed with the Vanguard veterans. When they said they were returning to the Firstborn aesthetic, I expected them to bring back the giant jump packs, or at least do something similar to the ones in Aethon Shaan.
