Through Saturday, expect intermittent moderately elevated PM2.5 between rain (or during rain at times), as waves of minor smoke from the southeast continue to be a possibility under southerly winds. We will likely bounce between good AQI and mid to upper moderate AQI. #airquality

We build a stronger Louisville when we empower our students to step up and use their voices. This year's JusticeFest brought together incredible young leaders from JCPS who shared ideas and solutions to challenges in our community, I was grateful to stop by.

Answer the Call for Gorillas! 🦍📞 Did you know that your old, junk-drawer electronics can help save wild gorillas? We are thrilled to kick off the 8th Annual Gorillas on the Line campaign! From now through September 1, we are joining zoos across the globe to "Answer the Call." By recycling your old cell phones, tablets, and small electronics, you help reduce the demand for coltan mining, which protects the habitats of Grauer’s and Cross River gorillas. How you can help: - Clean out those drawers and gather old phones, chargers, and tablets. - Drop them off at the Louisville Zoo collection bin at the Front Entrance - Spread the word and encourage your school, office, or community group to join our team! Proceeds support @SAFEGorilla partners like the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Let’s make this a GR8 year for conservation! 🌍✨
