We are spending at least $500 million a day to bomb Iran. Imagine how many teachers we could hire, how many public housing units we could build, how many bridges and roads we could fix, if we spent that kind of money on improving life for working people?

As a father of a teenage son, I am absolutely horrified by the fatal attack on young Jaden’s life. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones who mourn his tragic death. 💔🙏🏾

A 15-year-old Jaden Pierre was brutally beaten by a group of teens and then fatally shot to death in broad daylight at a Queens playground The incident began as a dispute on the basketball court that escalated into a fight Pierre was punched and kicked by multiple attackers before one pulled a gun and shot him once in the chest at close range. NYPD officers responded to a 911 call and found the teen gravely wounded. He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

20 yrs ago I experienced one of the greatest moments in my life, the birthday of my first born son. I can’t believe how quickly the years have gone by. But as long as I have the strength God has given me, I will continue to lift him up in every way I can. Happy 20th Birthday Son!
