His name is Luca Maberry (@LucaMaberry) and he is an unbelievable competitor and the type of person you will want on your team. He has a work ethic that you can’t teach and the ability to elevate players around him. He plays for @VStateBaseball and today (1 day before first game) broke his collarbone diving for a ball in Batting Practice. Luca is an unbelievable outfielder and will give you everything he possibly has every single game he plays. His sophomore year of juco at @MarionMilitary he robbed a homerun and on the play suffered a high ankle sprain and played through the entire season. Last Year he was not given the opportunity to play and on a year he could of been redshirted was inserted to pinch run at the end of the season and lost the entire year of eligibility. He will be redshirting this year and barring new Juco rule may potentially have another year of eligibility. Here are his most recent swings and what he was looking like before he got injured.
