@SavageNtheBox @JMincone @Jared_Carrabis He’s standing up a bit at the beginning, umpire can’t see over him as well, and when he dunks it and drops his body like that it looks lower than it really is. Catcher’s fault, ump should still get it right though

@Mike_kim714 @thomascollister Perhaps there is an underlying issue like shoulder/ribcage movement limitations. Sometimes lessons can only go so far on that side
English

@thomascollister I’m not trying to be mean… I hope ur kidding because if you’ve taken lessons from “pros” I feel like you should sue for complete incompetence and negligence. I’m pretty confident I’d get you to a draw in 2 hrs

What do you think is main technical flaw in your swing stopping you from hitting it better? Are you sure that’s the root cause or is it a symptom? For ex. Early extension is a symptom not a root cause. If you just fix early extension, you’ll likely hit it worse. Almost anything that happens in the transition and downswing is just a reaction to the position you put yourself in the backswing good or bad.

@Bnakamura24 @dhayes422 had a theory in walking. Have someone stand still then tell them to walk towards something in the distance without saying what they were doing it for just to see what leg they went forward with first.
Was interesting to see but didn’t notice anything specific

One pitcher in the world throws like this and all of a sudden basic mechanics are thrown out the window ?
Devin Hayes@dhayes422
Screw your back leg depth The back leg is going to do what it has to do. Don’t be so caught up in needing to “sit deeper” or asking your coach how your “hinge” position looks.

@johnb_sp Just get the thin sliced ribeye bro it’s a perfect breakfast aliment

@drivelinekyle Gotta think the pitch clock is a possible culprit eh?

@saucysean7 @TreadAthletics Sean, two quick things.
1) congrats, so well-deserved. Excited to see you cook.
2) don’t be afraid to ask the content team for a hi-res graphic. @TreadAthletics can we get this guy a graphic that has more than six pixels?

@JasonOchart @drivelinebases Yeah I’m not sure either. Even in the video it almost seems as if where mocap/modeling puts the head of the humerus would require significant scapular movement, but it could just be how it’s displayed for whatever reason.
English

@cory_wilder @drivelinebases The scap was a really popular topic on hitting twitter once upon a time, but I’m not sure it’s worth talking or thinking about other than maybe being mildly interesting. I could be wrong though
English

@TreadAthletics the guy in the videos is really sweaty

@SwaggyP_ete We’re they good athletes because they played 3 sports, or did they play 3 sports because they were good athletes

@TreadAthletics Even bigger insult is being called a lefty specialist when you’re a righty….
